The club’s 2011 Season came to a close on Saturday October 15, with the staging of the Team Match Play competition for the President’s Cup. We defeated NOVA Pro Duffers Golf Club, which is based in Northern Virginia, on Saturday July 9 in our 2nd Annual inter-club Match. The tournament was held at the beautiful Raspberry Falls Golf Course, in Leesburg, VA. Scaribis Scramblers tallied 1318 “Net” strokes compared to NOVA’s 1361. 3. Following our 1st round Match Play scheduled for July 16, we will be holding our 2nd General Meeting, in the conference room at Cross Creek Golf Club. All members are encouraged to attend. 4 . The club hosted the 1st Golf Consortium Tournament on Saturday June 11 at Patriots Glen Golf Club, Elkton, Maryland. One hundred and forty two (142) players drawn from the following clubs, Capital Chippers (DC) Del Val (PA), La Tata (MD), Pinseekers (NJ), Pin Seekers (MD), Safari (MD), Black Players Tour (MD), and the general public participated in the event.
